Fees
At British Transatlantic Polytechnic, we believe that every student must have access to quality education irrespective of their socio-economic background. We strive to make education affordable to all students. That is why our fees are similar to those subsidised fees payable in government-owned public schools. We also give generous tuition-free scholarship to students from lower socio-economy background.
Our fees are divided into two categories:
- Tuition Fees
- Other fees
Tuition Fees
Tuition fees are charged by the polytechnic to cover key elements of your course like teaching, tutorials, mentorship and the core learning on campus.
Tuition fees normally cover:
- lectures, seminars, and tutorials
- course admin costs
- course materials and course reading guide
- cost of guest speakers
- support services for students
- pastoral services for students
- linkages and international opportunities
Other fees
Other fees cover other side of academic life, as well as core services related to students’ wellbeing and experience on campus.
Other fees normally cover:
- field trips essential for completion of your course.
- social and academic excursion
- access to course-related facilities and equipment (e.g. laboratories, studios)
- access to campus libraries and computer rooms
- printing or photocopying at libraries or IT facilities
- textbooks and other course materials, e.g. art supplies, dancewear
- personal technology, e.g. laptop, tablet, specialist software, camera, and accessories
- travel costs to work placements
- professional body membership
- living costs e.g. accommodation, travel
- matriculation and graduation attire, photography, and guest tickets.
Fees payable depends on whether you are home or International students.
Home Students
Home students are defined as students who are ordinarily resident in Nigeria three years before their course start date.
International Students
International Students are defined as students who are NOT ordinarily resident in Nigeria, otherwise known as foreign students.
Tuition fees for full time International students – Five Hundred British Pounds Sterling (£500) or equivalent per semester.
Tuition fees for part time International students – Three Hundred British Pounds Sterling (£100) or equivalent per semester.
Tuition can be made in up to two instalments. At least half of the tuition fees are payable before registration
