British Poly Welcomes Ondo State Government Team

The management and staff of the British Transatlantic Polytechnic, Akure, recently welcome delegates from the Ondo state government to the institution.
The team under the aegis of Tertiary Institutions’ Coordinating unit of the Office of Special Adviser to the Governor on Education paid a routine monitoring/inspection visit to the Polytechnic.
In a statement signed by Dr Olawunmi J. Ilawole, Special Adviser – Education, the purpose of the visit ‘is to ensure Quality Assurance and strict compliance to the Adoption of decisions of the National Council on Education (NCE) on issues affecting the sector, primarily aimed towards achieving Education 2030 Agenda’.
The team went round the facilities on campus before retiring into a closed-door meeting at the polytechnic’s conference room.
The team were particularly impressed by the quantity and quality of equipment in the laboratory and workshop which they said its second to none in the state.
In his reaction, the Polytechnic Registrar, Julius Ayodele thanked the team for their visit and assured the visitors that the Polytechnic will continue to invest in world class facilities and equipment which are sourced primarily from the United Kingdom.
